About the Role
- Provide full range of Adult medical-surgical care to ACU patients
- Exercise nursing process knowledge for individualized care
- Provide culturally sensitive care meeting physical/spiritual/social needs
- Manage patient care documentation in EHR
- Follow facility policies, procedures, TJC, OSHA standards
- Participate in quality assurance activities
- Work schedules include day/night shifts, weekends, holidays
Requirements
- Degree/diploma from professional nursing program approved by legally designated State accrediting agency
- 36 months nursing experience, with minimum 24 months in specialty
- Valid, unrestricted nursing license
- Current BLS, PALS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
- Required immunizations including annual flu shot
- English language proficiency
- Basic computer skills
