About the Role
- Perform nursing duties and manage patient needs in Ambulatory Care setting
- Coordinate with Nursing Supervisor for specific duties and rotations
- Follow all IHS policies, procedures and protocols
- Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA requirements
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Use IHS information technology systems
- Work collaboratively as part of healthcare team
- Attend mandatory orientations and trainings
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct
Requirements
- Current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a state, DC, Puerto Rico, or US Territory
- 36 months nursing experience with minimum 2 years specialty experience
- Current certifications: BLS (mandatory), PALS, NLS, ATCN/TNCC, ACLS
- Read, understand, speak, and write English
- Basic computer skills
- Required immunizations and health screenings
- Must pass background check
